Craft Beer Alley
This year will see a new area within the Show which is dedicated to local produce and a Craft Beer Alley. This exciting addition to the Show is designed to add ‘beer’ to the idea of a Food and Wine show. With more than 400 craft breweries in Australia, and 17 launching in Queensland in 2017 alone, consumers are looking to learn about craft beer, local breweries, beer trends and beer and food matching.
The Craft Beer Alley will be a section of the food pavilion dedicated to beer education. It is being curated by independent beer educator Matt Kirkegaard and featuring a Beer and Food Stage hosted by actor, brewer and foodie, Paul Mercurio. Craft Beer Alley will be a major drawcard at this year’s Show.
